You can either rent a car at the airport or take the Rocky Mountain Super Express shuttle service to Provo. It is a major hub for Delta and Southwest airlines. The international airport in Salt Lake City is the closest major airport to Provo and BYU. The 11,750 foot Mount Timpanogas dominates the skyline north of the city and the 23 mile long Utah Lake is just to the west. Provo is located in Utah Valley with an elevation of 4200 ft and just less than an hour south of Salt Lake City in the State of Utah and enjoys a small town atmosphere with 105,000 residents, a nice business community, and two large universities. Coffee and tea are not available on campus.

Note: BYU does not permit smoking anywhere on campus. The Magicc Lab is room 290 in the Fletcher Building. Go up the stairs (on left), turn left at top of stairs, and then left again at the end of the hallway. The entrance is on the North side of the building. The Fletcher Building is the first building on the left after the steps. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department office is on the fourth floor in room 459. The Clyde Building is the second building on the left after the steps. Walk South through the middle of campus passing the library on the West and the student center on the East. The visitor parking lot will be on your left, next to the (white) Law School building. Travel up the hill and through three lights. Turn left (eastbound) at the first light onto Bulldog Ave. Turn right (southbound) onto University Ave. I-15 Exit 269 to BYU Campus (Detailed map)įollow University Parkway East to the BYU campus (about 2 miles). Transfer to I-15 southbound toward Provo and travel for about 35 miles.Įxit east (toward mountains) on Exit 269 (University Parkway). Transfer to I-215 southbound toward Provo and travel south to the I-15 interchange. From the airport take I-80 eastbound to the I-215 interchange.
